STUDIO PRODUCT POLICY:
BEADS : FLAMEWORK / LAMPWORK GUARANTEE : BUY WITH CONFIDENCE. Beads purchased are guaranteed against breakage for LIFE against any manufacturing defects. Your beads have been kiln annealed in a 24 x 24 x 24 inch solid brick annealer. The digital controller unit used is intelligent. Unit dials our cell phones and alarms if power is ever interrupted or a mechanical error occurs, which would compromise product quality. The studio does not batch anneal any product. ANNEALING FOLLOWS ALL TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE EXACT SHAPE, MASS, & GLASS TYPE OF EACH OBJECT TO ENSURE STRUCTURAL SOUNDNESS. This means a solid round bead should not crack, period... They are durable heirloom quality artisan creations. LIFETIME GUARANTEE holds against either the life of the owner / artist, or as long as the studio is still producing lampwork glass products... Guarantee does not apply to sculptured objects that have been dropped. Also, abuse such as exterior scratches, broken tips, chips or nicks are not guaranteed so... KEEP BEADS AWAY FROM ABRASIVES, CLEANERS, AND NAIL FILES! SALT WATER IS AN ABRASIVE THAT WILL RUIN JEWELRY OF ALL KINDS AND DULL GLASS. If a MANUFACTURING DEFECT IS ENCOUNTERED, CONTACT THE STUDIO TO ARRANGE FOR A RETURN.

HOW TO MAKE A RETURN: You have 3 calendar days from delivery confirmation date to request a return or exchange by phone or email. You will be assigned an RMA number that must be written on the parcel returned. The return parcel must be received within 7 days of the RMA # date or no credit will be issued. It is strongly advised to insure all returned parcels. The studio is not responsible for items uninsured and impossible to track. All boxes that do not have the RMA number written on the box will be returned/refused UNOPENED. IMPORTANT! IF YOU EMAIL AND DO NOT RECEIVE A REPLY IN 1 DAY, YOU MUST CALL THE STUDIO. INTERNATIONAL BUYERS SHOULD USE THE " CONTACT US " FORM IF A PROMPT REPLY IS NOT RECEIVED. THIS POLICY INSURES THAT POTENTIAL EMAIL ISSUES DO NOT INTERFERE WITH YOUR RETURN.

BEADS, ARTWORK, & FLAMEWORKING SUPPLIES RETURN / EXCHANGE POLICY: All returns or exchanges are issued studio store credit in the form of a Credit Memo. Credit memo's can be used online or during expo show events. Request for return/exchange must me made within 3 calendar days of your postal delivery confirmation date. Customer is responsible for cost of return shipping and insurance. Upon receipt of the item in PERFECT condition, you will be issued a credit memo for the amount of item returned less studio shipping fees paid during order processing. Credit memo is valid for 365 days from date of issue. If a specific product comes in clear packaging with a studio seal, the item must be returned with the seal intact or product is non-returnable. Beads strung on wire or string strip of any kind may not be taken apart and returned. Once you take apart a set, it is NON RETURNABLE.

DAMAGED IN TRANSIT/LOST That is why we insure! All packages are insured and have a POD delivery confirmation tracking number assigned. Contact the studio for resolution. We will assist you with understanding how to file a postal claim from start to finish.
MISSING / INCORRECT ITEMS: must be reported within 24 hours of delivery confirmation date or claim will not be accepted. POD weights and item weights will be checked. Do not wait for a standard business day or time to notify. Email or call even on a Sunday OR past closing hours.
LAMPWORK CREATION CARE: GENTLY WASH WITH HANDS AND LUKE WARM WATER. If you are a jewelry designer and have incorporated studio lampwork into one of your designs follow recommended care for all metals, materials and stones instead. Then dip a paper towel or Qtips in luke warm water to gently clean only the lampwork component. Do not use chemicals or any kind.
STERLING SILVER CARE: All silver will tarnish with exposure to oxygen and will need to be cleaned regularly using a silver polishing cloth. Silver should never be worn at the beach, during makeup/hairspray application or during cleaning. Laser etched silver & sparkle spacers must be silver dipped using a toothbrush type tool on a regular basis to keep on sparkling... Do not dip if lampwork beads or other gemstones/materials are a part of your design as it can remove the finish.
WARNING ! All beads are made from glass. They can be harmful if struck, swallowed/placed in mouth, or making the decision to wear a shape with points of any kind. Our products are not recommended for children or mentally challenged individuals. With purchase, the buyer assumes all responsibilities that come with owning their studio / glass pieces. If you break an item, it should no longer be worn.

Workshop Booking & Cancellation Policy:
With remittance of your workshop payment, you agree to the following terms posted on this webpage.
A copy of / or website link to this policy was also attached to your invoice copy.
PAYMENT IN FULL IS REQUIRED AS YOU BOOK YOUR WORKSHOP AND SELECT DATES.
PAYMENT METHODS: We accept PayPal, Credit Cards: Visa/MasterCard, or Debit Cards. The studio will no longer accept any personal checks AGAINST WORKSHOPS or money orders. Do not send cash! We are not responsible for lost cash and personal checks will be returned. IMPORTANT! ~ Deposits against any product or service are non refundable
STUDENT CANCELLATION / LATENESS / NO SHOW POLICY:
Cancellations of any kind regardless of reason will result in the loss of 100% of the workshop fee paid
LATENESS / NO SHOW POLICY: A sign will be hung on door on exact minute workshop is scheduled to begin. Once the workshop is in session, it is not possible to stop in mid process with existing student(s). With our sincere apologies, once the closed sign is hung on the door, you have lost the day of instruction. Mapquest / GoogleMap links are provided as a courtesy. We cannot verify accuracy of road maps. The studio is not responsible for traffic delays, road construction, detours, or students getting lost on the road. It is the students responsibility to find the studio and arrive on time.
STUDIO SNOW POLICY: IN THE EVENT OF ICE / SNOW EVENTS IN THE NEW JERSEY AREA OR WITHIN YOUR HOME STATE, A PHONE CALL WILL BE MADE TO EACH STUDENT THE NIGHT PRIOR TO YOUR WORKSHOP OFFERING THE OPPORTUNITY TO RESCHEDULE WITHIN 30 DAYS. WORKSHOPS SHOULD BE A FUN EVENT AND ANXIETY OVER DRIVING IN ICE / SNOW IS NOT FUN... SNOW RESCHEDULES MUST TAKE PLACE WITHIN 30 DAYS FIRM. STUDIO IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR AIRPLANE FEES OR RELATED TRAVELING EXPENSES.
FLIGHT CANCELLATION POLICY: YOU WILL HAVE 30 DAYS FROM PROOF OF CANCELLATION (PROVIDED BY THE AIRPORT) TO RESCHEDULE FROM STUDIO DATES OF AVAILABILITY. DO NOT WORRY. IF NOTHING SHOWS AS AVAILABLE ONLINE, WE WILL CREATE SOME DATES FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION. YOU MAY HAVE TO WAIT FOR UP TO 6-8 MONTHS OR SOMETHING COULD BE AVAILABLE WITHIN 30 DAYS... YOU MUST RESCHEDULE AGAINST NEW DATES OF AVAILABILITY WITHIN 30 DAYS OF YOUR ORIG WORKSHOP DATE. FIRM POLICY OR FUNDS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.
STUDIO CANCELLATIONS: THEY ARE VERY RARE. TWO HAVE TAKEN PLACE SINCE 2006. IN THE EVENT THAT THE STUDIO CANCELS A WORKSHOP, 100% OF WORKSHOP FEE IS REFUNDED WITHIN 3 BUSINESS DAYS OF PHONE CALL CANCELLATION. AN OFFER TO RESCHEDULE + AN ADDITIONAL 4 HOURS OF FREE INSTRUCTION IS ALSO MADE. STUDIO IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR AIRPLANE FEES OR RELATED TRAVELING EXPENSES.
No exceptions will be granted against any of our policies regardless of reason.
All policies are binding and agreed upon with the remittance of your initial workshop deposit.

WE ARE NOT PERMITTED TO ACCEPT HANDWRITTEN NUMBERS. THIS IS NOT A STUDIO POLICY, THIS IS TAX LAW.
PLEASE BRING COPIES TO THE SHOWS. WE ARE AWARE THAT SOME VENDORS TO NOT ADHERE TO THESE RULES, HOWEVER
